FAQ Species Lists and Authorities Finland Bird List

The official Finland bird list is displayed by Birdlife Suomi As of 30th August 2008 it comprised 453 species. This does not include 31 species held in Categories D and E, which are listed on a separate page.
The list only includes those rarities accepted by the Finnish rarity committee. The taxonomy and systematic order follows that of the Association of European Rarities Committees (AERC).
