FAQ Species Lists Irish List
The Irish Rare Birds Committee do not have a currently published and up to date Irish list. The Irish List used by BUBO Listing is therefore a draft and not "official" but we will make any required updates when we do have an "official" list to work from.
The list being used is largely based on a list produced by Colin McNamee as of 21st September 2007, although a few additional pending species (Mourning Dove Zenaida macroura, Blyth's Reed Warbler Acrocephalus dumetorum) have been added. Thanks also to Kevin Cronin, Tom Cuffe, Eric Dempsey, Joe Hobbs and Paul Archer for help.
In the meantime, species currently considered as comprising the Irish List for BUBO Listing purposes are shown below.
